Throughout my daily professional life, I often see opportunities for human performance improvement. In addition to a myriad of administrative systems, databases, and information archives, I am frequently exposed to a wide range of personalities. This combination of technology and divergent viewpoints, can contribute to confusion and frustration. I have a passion for helping others and I am recognized among my peers for my technical abilities. This, along with my creative attributes, allow me to offer a unique contribution to the field of instructional design.
Too often the subject matter of a training program can be bland and tedious in and of itself. Creating programs that go beyond reading a training manual and developing a format that employees can be excited about is something I strive for in my future endeavors. I also hope by incorporating my education and experience, I will encourage new perspectives in instructional design. I feel it is extremely valuable to maintain essential skills and an adaptive nature in order to remain versatile in an ever changing job market.
So many of the truths we cling to in life depend greatly on our own point of view. That is why it is important to strive for a mutual understanding within an organization. Knowing where to start takes a patient mind and a creative sense of purpose.
